One Terminal per Vehicle — Connectivity and Control Fully Integrated

The 5G V2X OBU is more than a communication terminal — it is the vehicle’s "collaborative perception brain." By collecting vehicle data via in-vehicle CAN/CAN FD and Ethernet, and combining 5G, C-V2X PC5, WiFi, Bluetooth and other wireless means, it interacts in real time with RSUs and other vehicle OBUs, supporting green-wave passage, blind-spot warnings, vulnerable road user alerts and other advanced V2X coordination applications.

  • 5G Uu + C-V2X PC5 dual-mode communication, combining cellular wide-area coverage with low-latency vehicle-to-vehicle / vehicle-to-infrastructure direct links
  • Embedded ITS application protocol stack, supporting transmission and reception of V2X standard messages such as BSM, SPAT and MAP
  • Integrates T-Box capabilities: remote control, emergency call, vehicle diagnostics, posture detection and OTA upgrades
  • Automotive Ethernet + CAN/CAN FD bus, GPS/BeiDou dual-mode positioning, WiFi hotspot and Bluetooth

Uu + PC5 Dual-Mode Communication Architecture

The OBU simultaneously supports 5G Uu cellular links and C-V2X PC5 direct links. Uu handles high-bandwidth data backhaul and remote operations, while PC5 handles millisecond-level low-latency coordination among vehicle-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-infrastructure and vehicle-to-pedestrian, together forming the integrated vehicle-road-cloud communication foundation.

C-V2X Uu Communication Architecture: Vehicle accesses the cellular network via a 5G base station (eNodeB) to enable vehicle-to-network communication

Uu Communication · Vehicle-to-Network

The vehicle accesses the cellular network via a 5G base station, supporting OTA upgrades, high-precision map downloads, HD video backhaul and remote driving, and providing a high-bandwidth backhaul channel for cloud-platform big-data analytics.

C-V2X PC5 Direct Architecture: Vehicles, road-side units (RSU) and pedestrians achieve low-latency coordination through PC5 direct links

PC5 Communication · Vehicle-to-Vehicle / Vehicle-to-Infrastructure / Vehicle-to-Pedestrian

Vehicles, RSUs and pedestrians connect via C-V2X PC5 direct links to broadcast traffic-signal status, road hazard warnings and vulnerable road user protection, achieving millisecond-level low-latency coordination without relying on base stations.

Core Advantages

From communication protocols to chassis interfaces, it delivers an integrated factory-fitted terminal for OEMs that combines intelligent connectivity with remote control.

5G + C-V2X Dual-Mode Communication

Simultaneously supports 5G Uu cellular wide-area communication and C-V2X PC5 direct communication (5905–5925 MHz), meeting dual requirements for connected vehicles and V2X coordination, and compatible with industry standards such as T/CSAE 53 and T/CSAE 157.

T-Box Remote Control

Integrates typical T-Box functions such as remote start, emergency call, posture detection, vehicle diagnostics and WiFi hotspot, and supports OEM TSP platforms and 5G APN integration.

Low-Latency V2X Coordination

PC5 direct-link air-interface latency can reach the millisecond level, suitable for forward collision warning, traffic-light information push, vulnerable road user alerts and green-wave passage.

In-Vehicle Interface Expansion

Provides interfaces such as automotive Ethernet, CAN/CAN FD bus and UART, facilitating integration with body domain controllers, TSP platforms, sensors and ADAS systems.

Information Security Assurance

Built-in security chip, supporting Chinese national cryptographic algorithms SM2/SM3/SM4 and international encryption algorithms, meeting national standards for V2X information security and two-way identity authentication.

Automotive-Grade Reliability

Designed to automotive-grade standards, supporting DC 9–36V wide-voltage power input and -40℃ ~ +85℃ wide-temperature operation, with IP54 protection and anti-vibration and anti-electromagnetic-interference capability.

V2X Full-Scenario Coordination

Based on C-V2X PC5 direct links and 5G Uu cellular dual links, it builds a real-time information interaction network among vehicles, infrastructure, pedestrians and the cloud, covering safety, efficiency and autonomous-driving coordination scenarios.

V2V Vehicle-to-Vehicle Coordination

BSM messages broadcast the vehicle’s position, speed and heading in real time, supporting forward collision warning, emergency braking alerts, platooning and beyond-line-of-sight coordination.

V2I Vehicle-to-Infrastructure Coordination

Receives SPAT signal phases, MAP maps and road event information pushed by RSUs, enabling traffic-light countdown, green-wave speed guidance and work-zone occupancy warnings.

V2P Vulnerable Road Users

Combined with roadside perception, it identifies vulnerable road users such as pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles in advance, issuing blind-spot and crossing warnings to the driver to effectively reduce collision risk.

V2N Vehicle-to-Network Coordination

Through real-time interaction with the TSP platform over 5G Uu, it supports remote control, vehicle diagnostics, high-precision map delivery, OTA upgrades and traffic-flow data aggregation analysis.
